Oh you gonna lay facts on me?

2019-03-01 07:57:48 UTC

GG @Deleted User, you just advanced to level 1!

2019-03-01 07:59:24 UTC

1. For one all of the programs that Bernie wants to add it will cost about 13 trillion

2. If you literally taxed everyone in the US who makes at least a million a year by 100% you would only end up with 3 trillion

2019-03-01 08:06:01 UTC

1. The programs are highly unlikely to cost any more than $1 trillion, as republicans forget these are the same things FDR once wanted, and FDR did similar things
2. Even if it did cost more than $1 trillion then no more than $3 trillion as it is hard to spend much more
3. If we can afford $1 trillion in tax cuts for the rich then we can afford Bernie supported projects
4. What about the poor / needy who CAN'T pay for such things like school, medical bills, food, homes, but the rich can afford getting a $1 trillion tax break which can save many lives from the effects of homelessness.
5. The middle class can also be taxed if they make a sustainable wage paying for even more
6. My family cannot afford many nice things because of the current rate of taxes (we make less than $200K including taxes)
7. If that is fair then why did we lose out on $1 Trillion in tax breaks for the rich

TL:DR of this:
It was proven once, it can be proven again. Also the taxes on the rich should be raised while the poor (who cant afford it) get taxed a lot

2019-03-01 08:07:09 UTC

And even more of a fact $1 trillion is very high, as FDR paid only less than half of a trillion

Btw, I think FDR is the 3rd Greatest President but he did get some help from the war

As America is amazing at making money from World Wars

Just wanted to say that

Gtg now

Cya

2019-03-01 08:08:44 UTC

Cya dude

2019-03-01 08:43:36 UTC

Were you guys talking about the New Green Deal?

2019-03-01 15:00:59 UTC

British Gamer, what are your first and Second greatest presidents?

2019-03-01 15:01:26 UTC

Because I’d argue he’s second, just behind Washington

2019-03-01 15:14:15 UTC

Okay

@DralTor Washington and Lincoln

Then FDR

2019-03-01 16:00:11 UTC

FDR is one of the worst Presidents. Him, Lyndon B. Johnson and Obama

2019-03-01 16:01:57 UTC

Ulysses S. Grant, Abraham Lincoln and Thomas Jefferson are my favorites

2019-03-01 16:02:02 UTC

I’d put Lincoln 3rd

2019-03-01 16:02:16 UTC

Grant was awful

2019-03-01 16:02:25 UTC

Not at all. He was great

2019-03-01 16:02:33 UTC

He destroyed the hope of a civil south

2019-03-01 16:02:44 UTC

They were harassing blacks.

2019-03-01 16:02:59 UTC

And they still do to this day

Jefferson is in my top 10

2019-03-01 16:03:09 UTC

I live in the south

2019-03-01 16:03:09 UTC

GG @DralTor, you just advanced to level 1!

2019-03-01 16:03:15 UTC

It’s a backwards hell hole

2019-03-01 16:03:16 UTC

Not to the extent that they were following the Civil War, though.

2019-03-01 16:03:40 UTC

He essentially undid the civil war

2019-03-01 16:03:46 UTC

Whites were straight out carrying out vigilante justice on blacks. Grant just kept that under control

2019-03-01 16:03:50 UTC

All those union lives lost in vain

How about JFK?

Opinions on him?

2019-03-01 16:04:13 UTC

I like Jefferson as well

2019-03-01 16:04:19 UTC

Not so good

2019-03-01 16:04:24 UTC

I disagree with you. He reinforced the main idea behind the civil war which was to end slavery

2019-03-01 16:04:41 UTC

He should have called off the Bay of Pigs invasion

2019-03-01 16:04:43 UTC

In order to do that blacks needed their rights protected

Tbh, Bay of Pigs was the standard Cold War screw up every President has to do
