today consisted of an acid attack, a live round fired (at the chest of a student protester), several gas bombs throwm, lots of tear gas fired, a water cannon spraying blue water was used and batons and poles were used to beat up the protesters and attack the police respectively
there was a warning sent out yesterday telling everyone to watch out and to stay indoors today, but allegedly there were around 100,000 people that were out on the streets protesting
as of 7:40pm (almost 5 hours ago), 96 people were caught and charged w rioting offences (they'll go to court on wednesday): the largest round of prosecutions since the protests began
