seems fair

2018-06-16 23:07:16 UTC

whatever that means

2018-06-16 23:07:23 UTC

the EU's days are numbered

2018-06-16 23:07:36 UTC

I give it 10 years most

2018-06-16 23:07:54 UTC

problem is that we don't have "borders" really... i don't need a passport to go to france...

2018-06-16 23:08:04 UTC

right

2018-06-16 23:08:09 UTC

and thats a "problem"

2018-06-16 23:08:19 UTC

the whole schengen-zone thing

2018-06-16 23:08:19 UTC

you dont have control of your border

2018-06-16 23:08:28 UTC

are youa "country" or a state?

2018-06-16 23:08:40 UTC

USE

2018-06-16 23:09:45 UTC

definitely a country... it's just international deals with/by the eu...

2018-06-16 23:10:04 UTC

and the original goal of the eu i can absolutely get behind...

2018-06-16 23:10:12 UTC

Where you from Falko?

2018-06-16 23:10:18 UTC

...its just the current execution of it that sucks

2018-06-16 23:10:28 UTC

also, we have a TON of europeans here

2018-06-16 23:10:34 UTC

that are active

2018-06-16 23:10:38 UTC

somewhat surprised by that

2018-06-16 23:11:09 UTC

originally? a mile from where luke rudkowski got attacked at the g20 😉

2018-06-16 23:11:19 UTC

They're getting their discussions in before article 13 goes through

2018-06-16 23:11:43 UTC

haha yup

2018-06-16 23:11:54 UTC

article 13 😒

2018-06-16 23:12:25 UTC

No country in the schengen has control of their borders. No 'country' in the EU can make their own trade deals. No country in the Euro can make their own monetary policy. You are a state.

2018-06-16 23:12:29 UTC

it's what you get when your politicians fear the media too much

2018-06-16 23:13:33 UTC

I'm going to agree with the state comment

2018-06-16 23:13:48 UTC

and those are the basic differentiations between states rights and united states

2018-06-16 23:13:58 UTC

yep

2018-06-16 23:14:12 UTC

federal = interstate commerce, national defence, trade deals, etc

2018-06-16 23:14:16 UTC

USE USE USE. (typical red neck voice.)

2018-06-16 23:14:28 UTC

the only slight difference (for some counties in the EU) is currency

2018-06-16 23:14:37 UTC

states can't make own currentcy while obviously some EU members can

2018-06-16 23:14:38 UTC

you can get rid of the euro if you want, you can leave the eu and you can make your own laws...

2018-06-16 23:14:40 UTC

but that's like it

2018-06-16 23:15:33 UTC

The Euro would only work for Germany and France, the others are to poor in comparison.

2018-06-16 23:15:48 UTC

i mean, you get sanctioned if your laws are against eu-"suggestions" but that's it

2018-06-16 23:15:52 UTC

and those two states prop up the others

2018-06-16 23:16:02 UTC

"that's it"

2018-06-16 23:16:10 UTC

I say "fuck that" 😄

2018-06-16 23:16:17 UTC

those two are the only ones important for the eu

2018-06-16 23:16:30 UTC

the uk... was in the beginning

2018-06-16 23:17:13 UTC

the initial aim was to make sure that there is an incentive to not have wars between european countries
