Rape is in no way as bad as murder, try to use alternative terms to think it threw, like struggle snuggle Vs hung and quartered. Rape is specifically worse in the west because it IS so wrong, our brain is trained to have such a reaction to it, go to a country where rape is normal and the mental affect of rape is much less, yet the effect of murder is equally as bad regardless of what country you are in.

i can imagine "severety of rape" is a normal distribution bell curve, and "severety of murder" is a normal distribution bell curve, and that the severety of murder median is more to the right then the severety of rape median

but that there is overlap and there would be cases where any random rape picked could be worse then any random murder picked

horizontal would be severety, vertical would be number of cases (rapes/murders)

Yes but regardless of severity, murder is well defined from start to finish, rape is a grey area at one end and defined at the other end

as per religion morality of cristianity for example, lethal injection for terminal and suffering patients would be murder by the injector

its my passion verses my morals in that case

I don't think most people would say it's right, but I think most people would have thoughts about doing it anyway. And in this day and age they would talk themselves out of it

so i might be wrong, but i think in that situation my heart would ache so much it would override my brains
