There may be some agents who work undercover or plain cloths where they try to keep the information as private as possible. But yea. it is possible to search by job.

I'm trying to follow the logic behind this. Were they attempting to intimidate ICE agents into resigning?

Intimidate the armed federal agents who routinely deal with drug cartels, people smugglers, and MS-13?

Because I don't think anyone would be stupid enough to actually go to one of their residences and harass them. I guess the people behind the scraping could have been hoping for some unhinged lunatic to do so, or for some MS-13 guys to murder them.

But the average lefty activist isn't going to personally go to the residence of an armed federal agent and start giving them or their family shit. That's a good way to get shot.

What happens if MS-13 or some other violent gang uses this information to assassinate an ICE agent? The cartels especially are well known for publishing gruesome videos of their hits online. Some guy getting sucker-punched or bike-locked is downright congenial in comparison to someone getting skinned and gutted alive.

If there is another civil war in America the first stages will look pretty damned similar to cartel hits.
