It's important to keep in mind that most people who engage in post-modernist tactics don't actually know what post-modernism is or explicitly follow it as a philosophy. They are just kind of infected with it.
im trying to come up with a shirt design for "homogeneity of thought"
@Porcelain chips It's a documentary, what did you expect?
I mean, if you've spent years being immersed and indoctrinated in the mindset, you pick up the tactics by osmosis as opposed to actually reading Derrida or Lyotard, etc.
i wanted to make a peter jordanson shirt where he strives for homogeneity of thought and he has purple hair
use his makeup pic
if you havent seen that
its something
Farmlands is probably meant to put a human face on the issue moreso than actually telling people a ream of facts about it.
Documentaries are usually about sharing individual stories.
@Timcast another t-shirt idea is "Religion in Denial". Meaning, if social justice was more honest in admitting a lot of their concepts are very religious in nature and not based on science then people would be less frustrated with the entire movement. People would still be anti-sjw but they'd view it through a less irritating context.
I'd make a steve shives shirt saying "Temporarily embarrassed believer"
Actually I think
a religious looking tshirt
would be awesome
like one of those overtly jesus tshirts
but instead something regarding the new religion of leftists
something like that
a parody of that or something
Where this thought process comes from is that patriarchy is very Satan-like in how it is blamed for such a wide variety of issues and "privilege" is a re-branding of original sin. Self identifying as a feminist is a form of being "born again".
So saying "I'm a Feminist" is the modern baptism?
where all your previous sins are washed away?
Explains quite a lot actually
Like Male Feminists
Admitting your privilege is like confession.
And, at least in America, most people don't have a problem with those to identify as holding religious views that may not make sense to others, because it's in the self-admitted context that religion is not necessarily grounded in the modern notion logic or reason. So where a lot of frustration comes from with sjws and feminists is that they argue that what they believe isn't a belief but something super factual.
if the leftist relgion had an equivilant to "praise Jesus" or "AllahuAkbar" what would it be
"Fuck Trump"
hahaha
"Future is female"?
something a bit more subtle that that
"Feminism is about equality"?
I really think their slogan is "Future is Female", though
But I mean, imagine it for just a minute... If all these related leftist groups came out tomorrow and admitted this is a belief system that they hold as true but cannot necessarily prove to everyone else... Wouldn't the level of overall outrage diminish somewhat, since people could then put that overall movement into perspective with how the rest of the world works?
I think religious parodies of leftism would be funny
and honestly, I think would actually get people to think
@Porcelain chips They can't do that, though
Like, if my feminist friends told me that this is their religion, I would contextualize the conflict between our world views very differently.
With christians, it's simple. You can't prove great floods, so our religion is a religion
With feminists.....it's much much harder
