I mean the complexity of the science behind it.

2018-07-09 02:38:05 UTC

Exactly.

2018-07-09 02:38:11 UTC

And so are the antivac as well.

2018-07-09 02:39:02 UTC

they have an incentive to potentially be dishonest with you because of excessive profits they get from government doing the dirty work of pushing it out to the public and forcing them to pay for it

2018-07-09 02:39:44 UTC

Thats why I said, people need to be more result oriented.

2018-07-09 02:39:56 UTC

Intent does not matter to me as long as it brings about the results.

2018-07-09 02:40:21 UTC

Why does it being profit oritented mean that vaccines are bad in the first place?

2018-07-09 02:40:50 UTC

And that people need to be thaught of the results first.

2018-07-09 02:40:54 UTC

Results could be altered to make it seems better than it originally is, or even removing the harmful side effects

2018-07-09 02:41:12 UTC

That is true.

2018-07-09 02:41:25 UTC

THat depends entirely on the company to be honest. which for sure will not.

2018-07-09 02:41:45 UTC

no i didnt mean that... bcuz its a good thing to be rewarded by safe and effected vaccinations if they work as intended ... i didnt mean profit per se.... just the PERVERSE incentives that develop bcuz of collusion w/ the govt by force ..... it screws up the whole incentive structure

2018-07-09 02:42:17 UTC

that is in their self-interest to be honest too.... in a free market with cut-throat competition

2018-07-09 02:42:18 UTC

Ah forgive me, I have the libertarian slant.

2018-07-09 02:43:56 UTC

all good, me too 😉 plenty of room for variety of opinions among libertarians ::high five::

2018-07-09 02:43:57 UTC

We got to always assume that pharma's are always profit oriented, and do not always put the public interest to heart

2018-07-09 02:44:21 UTC

Assuming the same of all companies in general.

2018-07-09 02:44:28 UTC

They do not operate for the best of the public.

2018-07-09 02:44:51 UTC

So all you can do is to ensure that the interest of the public and their own align enough

2018-07-09 02:44:55 UTC

We do need tighter regulation from the government, which could also be in the big pharma's pocket

2018-07-09 02:45:02 UTC

they cannot have public interested if they dont have to be accountable to their customer base and be held responsible for their mistakes

2018-07-09 02:45:20 UTC

Which is an issue, they are too big.

2018-07-09 02:45:27 UTC

Its hard to penalize them enough.

2018-07-09 02:45:32 UTC

taxpayers currently have to fork over the bill for vaccine injuries .... what a real kick in the teeth!

2018-07-09 02:45:38 UTC

And if you do penalize them, you reduce their ability to mae amends.

2018-07-09 02:46:14 UTC

Eh better vaccine injuries than you know, treating smallpox outbreaks.

2018-07-09 02:47:29 UTC

Aren't there still some people who have to live in an iron lung because of polio?

2018-07-09 02:47:57 UTC

if you could sue the vax manufacturers directly, the entire system would be different and much better to meeting market and safety demands

2018-07-09 02:48:27 UTC

Well the court system is not exacty great.

2018-07-09 02:48:40 UTC

Thse companies have armies of lawyers behind them

2018-07-09 02:49:03 UTC

but you cannot do this how the special "vaccine court" is set up..... if you can prove damage..... the manufa's dont even have to settle for damages .... they just defer to forced tax payers

2018-07-09 02:49:24 UTC

its a completely different court system tho.... its like quasi-private

2018-07-09 02:49:50 UTC

bcuz of special deals with the government

2018-07-09 02:50:42 UTC

SO your only issue is with the financial slant. It dosent feel right to earn money from it. Would that be accurate?

2018-07-09 02:51:02 UTC

Or the idea that a private healt issue is being enforced by the govt. Like obamacare

2018-07-09 02:51:41 UTC

I mean, Im thinking the alternative would be paying out money to deal with outbreaks of polio or smallpox

2018-07-09 02:51:53 UTC

Which would be alot more than 3.7 billion.

2018-07-09 02:52:37 UTC

Its a tough question, I dont like abortion, but every baby that isnt aborted will be another that will be sucking up welfare, and that would cost taxpayers more than the abortion itself.

2018-07-09 02:54:13 UTC

no, no, of course not. profits are necessary as an economic output indicator and price calculations.... also profits are like the alternator for an engine and battery.... it provides feedback of results and how to interpret and manage/allocate resources most efficiently

2018-07-09 02:54:20 UTC

its just a government intervention thing
