I remember watching a ton of hilarious videos of Antifa members getting their masks & headgear torn off in brawls resulting in their own side beating the shit out of them because “white guy without a mask” in the middle of the brawl, must be a white supremacist

I would like to propose that Vox, HuffPo and podcasts (particularly Chapo Trap House) are beginning to serve the same role that Fox and Talk Radio did on the right.

As much as Vox likes to gloat that the right divorced itself from the mainstream and became a bunch of partisan hacks, they completely miss the same effects taking shape on the far left.

I don't know the details of the law but, from my understanding, it was so foreign nations couldn't go out into space and claim shit. EX: the moon was landed on by the US and theres an American flag planted on it but it's not US territory

It could have been passed in order to prevent the Soviets from spreading out but that's speculation

if thats the case it seems more like public ownership is restricted rather than private ownership

I don't understand why sovereign states would be able to sail around the world 600 years ago and colonize but not be able to do so in space
