I think social media might increase your intensity of holding your current position

so it kinda makes you more extreme

but not really shifts you on the spectrum - but anyway that is just hypothesis

when I was younger I pretended more to fit in - but that fades with age

Like if I meet someone I was friends with and he hates something, ill just mention shit like "you know what? Yeah I can see that"

Dunno, I was always told that you can entertain a thought without accepting it.

My basic Hypothesis is: the more you use social media then the more likely you are to become more extreme on your politics.

And Id also argue that you change positions for the extreme to fit in.

That will likely be a factor i look into

as well as use other studies to back up my claims

My priority right now is on Millennials and Self-Censorship, which hypothesizes that more moderate millennials are less likely to speak out about politics on social media and real life due to fear of judgement and ostracization. The next one will be What's Wrong with Totalitarianism, where I plan to use my knowledge of history and poli-sci to basically shit all over ALL of the totalitarian ideologies. The Case Against #WalkAway vid is still in the idea stage for now though. Otherwise thanks for the idea lol.
