Wow
That does actually sound shady
FBIs grasping at straws
Mueller might just be holding out for an interview with Trump at this point. There's not really much else left for him. Flynn trial is over, Manafort trial is over, Papadopoulos trial is over, Cohen trial is over. Doesn't seem like anything leads to further trials.
They will find a way
THey said impeachment will come from all the prior trials
ANd judging from their responses so far. DOubtful they will let it lie
There's some speculation that they might try to use Cohen as a witness against Trump but unless they have tapes of some unambiguous criminal activity it'll just be one man's word against anothers and Cohen is not a particularly credible witness.
One thing that we can be sure of. If there are any straws left to grasp at, Mueller will grasp them.
I mean, its nice and all they they want the president to be accountable and shit.
It will also be hard to get him on campaign finance when the FEC hasn’t pointed to any wrong doing.
But where were these fuckers when obama was around?
Or Bush
Another possibility is that Mueller does wrap up the investigation, but gives a press conference to give some kind of closing statement. He might say that he wasn't able to prove any wrong-doing, but that Trump acted in stupid or unethical ways. Basically implying that he's a criminal like Comey implied against Hillary.
Exactly. Let’s do an open ended investigation on the Clinton and Bush families. I wonder how that would turn out.
Save that for the last two weeks before the mid-terms for maximum damage.
A good bet. We’ll see
Honestly though I seriously doubt Trumps gonna be capable of cleaning house in the FBI
The secrecy of the org means that the only way to hold people accountable is through blackmail
The best way.
Sessions was not a good choice for AG, but I understand why he was chosen. Sessions had been a good friend to Cruz and Trump had to offer him something big to get his support and undermine Cruz.
And without a really good AG there's no hope of purging the FBI.
Trump also left way too many Obama appointees in place. That was either simple naivety or simply due to the fact that he didn't have any loyal people who would be capable of assuming the positions.
The FBI has had ethics issues since its conception. How do you clean up something that’s always been dirty?
The fact that you have someone like Vince McMahon's wife in the Trump cabinet is proof that Trump didn't have a lot of people who he could trust.
You can't make them moral, but you can make them afraid.
True
Orange jump-suits and ankle-chain perp-walks with media going wild. Let people in the FBI see their own paraded about in such a way and they'll quickly decide it isn't worth it to be crooked.
You guys ever hear about the FBI framing 4 men for murder to hid the crimes of one of their informants?
Muller has a connection to that. It’s a small one. But interesting.
They did? Is this old? I thought it would be bigger news
It’s old
But big. Those men were found innocent. The two living ones got 100 million for it
Well explains alot then
Every generation has an FBI corruption story like this.
The Trump Russia investigation is our generations
2007 was the last time this was in the news. Not that long ago.

One of the guys wasn’t even in the state at the time. He was in Florida. He died in prison.
The FBI knew the moment the killing happened, and who did it, but covered it up for years.
I know the JFK had a theory that the FBI offed him
Because he didnt like the FBI
