That doesn't look like the same guy as the other two...
This guy is a spook.
Probably several spooks using the same identity.
The interesting thing is if you're following the pro-Trump alternative media--and I do--they have a completely different story on all this. Who you believe is one of the biggest questions of our day.
TLDR of the Swedish election - left center coalition has 144 seats and the center right has 143 seats
175 seats are needed to form a majority government
The Swedish democrats - the "white supremacist" party has 62 seats, making them the third largest part. They entered the election with 49 seats
Neither coalition wants this party out of fear that they will alienate some of their core coalition members and spur them to join the other side
Keep in mind that the Swedish Democrats had 0 parlimentery seats until 2010
What happens in the Swedish system if a government cannot be formed?
Im not sure, ive seen a lot of talk about minority government
Which i assume just means they have more votes and can pass things, but that they can still be vetoed
Dr. Steve Turley talks a lot about Sweden and other countries. He's very optimistic -- he is a "far right" person as a cultural and traditional nationalist, but he's VERY optimistic, especially about Europe, even about Sweden.
It says that a majority is needed in the Rikstag to pass a measure
There are definitely at least two different people being referred to as Joseph Mifsud
https://www.timesofmalta.com/articles/view/20090325/sport/joe-mifsud-elected-uefa-vice-president.250301
somtimes there are compeeting proposals and for those a simple majority works
The guy Fox is referring to is completely different from the diplomacy professor
Simplest explanation is that Fox has a photo of the wrong guy. Seems that photo is of some sort of football executive. He's probably the dead one.
The heavyset guy with the chin cleft seems like the one involved with Papadopolous.
https://brignews.com/2018/02/21/vice-chancellors-response-to-mps-questions-about-joseph-mifsud-wholly-unsatisfactory/
Seems like the guy was given academic accreditation and a position with little or no justification.
Also updates on the two largest political parties in swedeen
The top party is the Social Democrat Party - lost 12 seats in the past election
2nd place is the Moderate party - lost 14 seats in the election
Yep. As Steve Turley notes, while the Nationalist Populists did not do as well as they hoped, they have grown to a point where now, they'll have a major impact on Swedish politics. For the good It hink.
I think something is happening...
https://www.val.se/svenska-valsystemet/val-och-folkomrostningar/valkalendrar/valaret-2018.html
According to the schedule the final counting of the votes started today.
https://data.val.se/val/val2018/slutresultat/R/rike/index.html
But according to this they only managed to count 49/6325 districts.
And according to the schedule they are supposed to finish on the 13th.
Methinks someone realized something that's so embarassing that they haven't publicly responded yet...
Hmm... According to this: https://www.val.se/servicelankar/press/nyheter/nyheter/2018-09-10-den-slutliga-rostrakningen-borjar-i-dag.html
They are claiming that they are going to finish at earliest the 14th and that they have 2 weeks to finish.
14*49=686 districts. Could just be a soft start but i dunno...
🤔
Something tells me shit is about to get real. OR in the next election you are going to see even more people vote early and guard the handling of the ballots like a hawk.
Is this the Swedish election?
I've heard weird things about the Swedish voting process, like Swedes have to write the full name of the candidate on the ballot instead of just checking a box, or that blank ballots are specific to the party, thereby unintentionally making you to disclose which you intend to vote for by making you take a blank ballot from the party's pile. Any truth to that?
You pick out the ballots you want from a stand that everyone can see. You pick three ballots. National, regional and local. On each ballot there is a list of people where you can check one box for an individual that you really want seated if the party doesn't get enough votes to seat all people. If you don't have a ballot for the party you are voting for there are blank ballots where you can write down the name of the party you want.
You put each ballot into a letter that has a hole in it so you can see which type of vote you are making. Three closed letters with holes with three different colors. Those are placed in a bigger envelope. You bring those to a table where you verify your identity and then they check you off a list and place your envelope in a box with a hole in it.
Sweden has gotten international critique because of how easy it is to see who you are going to vote for.
Yeah that's a really screwed up system. Way too easy to shame and intimidate voters.
What's generally being claimed here is that ballots were not on the stand meaning that you had to write on a blank ballot where you need to remember who you want to individually support. If you don't choose a person then anyone in the party could get the seat. Then the claim is that ballots for one party got counted as another or where wrongly claimed as being invalid. Like mispelling the party name enough so that the counter "cannot tell" which party it's meant for...
We had a record amount of "invalid" ballots this year. However that could be due to people being pissed at the politicians and writing shit like "Donald Duck" on the ballot.
We also had "family voting" where immigrant families or communities would be handed ballots by their family/klan-leader and then be observed by that leader while they walk behind the screen and place their ballots in the letter.
In Rinkeby (Immigrant heavy area) 77% voted for the social democrats.
(correction: The family/klan-leader stands on the other side of the screen but observes them walking there with the ballots he handed them)
I thought Sweden was the Hallmark of democracy not Russia-lite voting scheme.
It was the same last election.
