nutritionfacts.org has very helpful vids too

2020-03-18 20:48:32 UTC

theres absolutely nothing wrong with eating meat once a week, its healthy and you dont need to supplement certain things

2020-03-18 20:49:06 UTC

the problem is when people eat fat meat almost everyday

2020-03-18 20:49:11 UTC

The only things you should supplement as a vegan, as long as your diet is balanced, is vitamin B12 and possibly iodine

2020-03-18 20:50:43 UTC

vitamin B12 is made by bacteria and stored in the meat, so it's not even fleshborne. Herbivores either get it from their own digestive system (ruminants) or by coprophagy (rodents, elephants). For humans it's produced in the colon but we cant absorb it and we won't eat shit.

2020-03-18 20:50:46 UTC

nah also d3, iron, taurine, choline, creatine

2020-03-18 20:50:46 UTC

the most important thing lacking in a vegan diet are cojones

2020-03-18 20:51:09 UTC

>we won't eat shit

2020-03-18 20:51:12 UTC

speak for yourself

2020-03-18 20:51:19 UTC

sorry

2020-03-18 20:51:47 UTC

@rogalik iron is no real problem to get from kale and the like

2020-03-18 20:52:12 UTC

yes all these are a real problem because you're just wasting resources if you get them from anything other than meat

2020-03-18 20:52:43 UTC

we're not in a survival situation and plant based diets are scientifically proven to be healthier

2020-03-18 20:53:02 UTC

if I'm in the apocalypse and can't get my B12, then everything's on the table, including you

2020-03-18 20:53:19 UTC

meat has the highest contents and the easiest absorbtion for all these

2020-03-18 20:53:20 UTC

but I'm enjoying the posh af civilised lifestyle we can have now

2020-03-18 20:53:36 UTC

of course it does, I mean it's animal protein. It's already processed

2020-03-18 20:53:48 UTC

But eating plants and therefore fibre prevents colon cancer

2020-03-18 20:53:50 UTC

its easier for your digestive system to just get this one meat meal once a week instead of autism

2020-03-18 20:53:54 UTC

and also gives you good shits

2020-03-18 20:54:41 UTC

>But eating plants and therefore fibre prevents colon cancer
aaaand eating meat sometimes doesnt mean you dont eat those kek

2020-03-18 20:54:54 UTC

2020-03-18 20:55:30 UTC

2020-03-18 20:57:26 UTC

also vegan diet makes you avoid fish which is quite ridiculous I forgot that on top of that whole iron b12 d3 you also need omega 3
