I am going to ask my church what they think of this passage.
<:smugpepe:445634631950139403>
Probably tell you that Peter founded the church. Then tell you reasons why they don’t believe this means a Pope.
@Iakovos The verse you mentioned in the Asian channel is here, verse 8. I’m certain that verse isn’t meant to be taken in a manner that the creation week could be 6,000-7,000 years.

I still need to go through that PowerPoint you shared... Relativity of time gets incredibly complicated. I was told one time that the clocks on our satellites have to be reset because time somehow passes differently in orbit. Never bothered to look it up, so hopefully someone here is aware of the statement.
@Andrules this proves that a thousand years is a day to God, and a day is a thousand years.
@Andrules The days are a metaphor for the time it took for the creation of our World. Don't forget that the bible was writen in metaphors so simple people could understand it
What I love about that passage is that it says that people will begin to disbelieve.
It shows that the Holy Spirit prophesied about our time
And we see the decline after people stopped be devoted in christianity
When you abandon the church, the church abandons you. It's a chain reaction after that.
@Deleted User @Andrules let us hope that we are worthy enough to be granted entry to the Lord's kingdom, and that we are worthy enough to be in His sight.
But because we are lowsome and sinful we should pray.
Dunno for that, we need to try harder to be accepted and become better. BUT I would also take eternal damnation if my sacrifiece would make my family and kids have a better future too and not the clown world we live into now
No need for sacrifice, God saves all :)
And we cannot achieve salvation by merit alone, but by grace and faith.
He does, and I'm thankful for that. At least after I returned to pray daily my depression has become better too
Pray multiple times a day.
I do pray before sleep and when I wake up in the morning
the last 3 months
Yet I have to place a foot in a church and for communion like ages and probably I need to do it too
