Yes and no. Atheism is toxic to countries and families. It's a pylon that if you remove you can't have a healthy society as families would crumble with it. Agnosticism is not atheism per see. You still believe that god might exist as you don't have a hard evidence (in our lifes at least) that he exists but or not. I don't have a problem with agnosticism and I embrace it. But Atheism is a laughable stock for me.

2018-09-17 18:05:45 UTC

I place societal norms on evolution and naturalism.

2018-09-17 18:06:01 UTC

Homosexuality is objectively inferior and degenerate.

2018-09-17 18:06:28 UTC

Feminism is objectively the bane of proper hierarchy

2018-09-17 18:06:37 UTC

Anyway

2018-09-17 18:06:42 UTC

I need to catch my bus

2018-09-17 18:06:43 UTC

Brb

2018-09-17 18:17:39 UTC

The problem is that atheism leads to moral relativism. Which in turn destroys the family and allows feminism and homosexuality to spread. Then the society is replaced by the antithesis culture, because “all cultures are equal.”

2018-09-17 18:24:03 UTC

Exactly

2018-09-17 18:28:49 UTC

Personally I don’t “hate” the unbeliever. I would love for society to be libertarian. Allow everyone to live and let live. But without the building block of the family, society crumbles.

2018-09-17 18:30:27 UTC

So authoritarianism is needed, at least a small amount, to preserve the family unit.

2018-09-17 18:31:16 UTC

Dunno Libertarian Societies is a double-edged sword. If you hurt the holy trinity (Religion/Culture/Family) everything will fall apart soon or later

2018-09-17 18:31:36 UTC

right now we see the decline because we abandoned the trinity long ago

2018-09-17 18:35:43 UTC

We give a place for the ((())) to let their cancer multiply without having something to suffocate it. What you would call degeneracy back when I was a kid, right now is normal to do. And I'm only 20 so I'm not that big too

2018-09-17 18:38:53 UTC

Yeah. I’ve noticed there’s a big change in society in like 5 year time spans. Since I’ve been alive. I’m 31.

2018-09-17 18:39:45 UTC

There’s very little I have in common with my 23 (?) year old brother.

2018-09-17 18:40:47 UTC

Well, I don't even have something common with people that are 2-4 years younger then me right now. It's rare to find a person that I can communicate on the same vibe that is younger then me

2018-09-17 18:41:13 UTC

We have similar conservatism in common. But music, movies, TV shows and stuff are wildly different.

2018-09-17 18:42:00 UTC

The addition of smart phones changed his age group.

2018-09-17 18:43:08 UTC

He was getting nudes from girls his freshman year of high school.

2018-09-17 18:43:16 UTC

It was on my dad’s phone too 🤣

2018-09-17 18:43:39 UTC

Dad had to get the numbers blocked and messages removed so he wouldn’t be fucked with

2018-09-17 18:44:02 UTC

xD

2018-09-17 18:45:20 UTC

Not to say my age group didn’t do something comparable. I mean we had email and cameras. But your basic “THOT” isn’t smart enough to get adapters and memory card for their cameras.

2018-09-17 18:45:37 UTC

So it wasn’t as wide spread in my area.

2018-09-17 18:46:23 UTC

Well, yeah. Even in my age we had thots and girls getting over from their 12. But that was just rare.

2018-09-17 18:47:05 UTC

But in just mere 10 years everything just changed too rapidly.

2018-09-17 20:01:01 UTC

Evolution includes rape so we can't base morals on that

2018-09-17 20:03:05 UTC

Over half of all chimp copulations are forced. I'm referring to the animal, not the ninja

2018-09-17 20:03:37 UTC

Probably true for both though

2018-09-17 20:06:00 UTC

Thus societal norms cannot be based on evolution or naturalism. Whether or not a religion is true is a related but different debate

2018-09-17 20:06:19 UTC

But to deny the fact that morality comes from religion is ridiculous

2018-09-17 20:09:04 UTC

Lack of faith this days it's just show how true is this

2018-09-17 20:09:19 UTC

I remember a Bugs Bunny cartoon that depicted Benjamin Franklin, Bugs asked him what he was doing, and he said "I'm trying to discover electricity". That is as ridiculous as saying morality just comes from nowhere

2018-09-17 20:10:58 UTC

Subjective morality cannot be morality at all. Objective morality must be a definite standard and what gives a man the authority to say what is right except being appointed by God?

2018-09-17 20:11:21 UTC

For if a man were to give that power to another man, what makes him any better than you or me?

2018-09-18 00:01:50 UTC

I base my morality on the healthiest choice of action.

2018-09-18 00:02:37 UTC

Is homosexuality healthy? No.
Is murder healthy? No.
Is theft healthy? No.
Is lying healthy? No.
Is adultery healthy? No.
Is whoring around healthy? No.
Is gluttony healthy? No.

2018-09-18 00:02:52 UTC

Don't need a god for that.

2018-09-18 00:17:33 UTC

Replace healthy with sustainable and you basically have my stance. There are minor exceptions to everything but as a rule things that cant stand alone arent great life choices. You dont need religion to have morals and honestly the more time goes own even the church is bowing to "subjective morality". Regardless of what you think about the pope he is still the pope.

2018-09-18 03:28:58 UTC

What's the Pope have to do with it?
