@Deleted User that's pretty cool
the logging town has been abandoned since the late 90's
actual construction was 70's
So its been there awhile. I remember exploring an abandoned mining town here. was really cool
early education is important
@Deleted User Hong Kong is british
I know. When it was turned back over to the Chinese in 1997 over a million fled to Canada
British Army looks weird
Don't remember them having all that red stuff
@Deleted User Hong Kong hasn't been British since 1997
I know. Mick said "Hong Kong is British" as in presently
Hong Kong is rightfully British
The communist state didn't exist in 1847
It's like the UK demanding Oregon
China existed though, and the ROC was the lawful successor of the Qing Empire
The PRC is the lawful successor of the ROC
prefer the ROC than PRC
cos communism is cancer
No authority is illegal nor lawful
If you are able to enforce your authority over a nation, then you are the authority.
Tho I would prefer ROC too <:GWtogaTheSaddest:384871977149661184>
If PRC is illegal then British rule of HK and any other overseas territory would be illegal
For that matter, US would be illegal
Most of the British Isles would be illegal
Until the 80s, ROC was a socialist dictatorship btw
And PRC has steadily moved away from communism and more towards nationalism with a contradictory name
Sun Yat Sen was leaning socialist too
I remember the KMT split to left and right wing factions at some point
It was clearly and self admittedly socialist until the 80s
Like the Nazi brand of socialism
They were even trained by the Wehrmacht, wore the same uniforms, used the same weapons, and some Chinese served in the Wehrmacht in Europe
Sino-German split happened after Japan invaded
Well yeah
The Wehrmacht did assist to train a few divisions of the Nationalist army, though some of them got wasted in defending Shanghai
The German advisors advised Chiang not to hold onto Shanghai and focus on moving the bulk of their forces Westwards.
Chiang Wei Kuo was one of the prominent ones who served in the Wehrmacht, tho he got called back to China before he was able to participate in the invasion of Poland
Left Wing KMT are currently A political party in China However its mostly the CPC
Oh yeah the current left wing KMT is a puppet political party with no real influence
There's several small parties, and usually their leadership are also CPC
