Alberta? Well they are an English speaking province
if the economy wasn't so bad I'd consider moving there.
yeah I just wonder what the opinion is towards Britain and the united states
are they more socially conservative
?
I'd say they are. generally they're very patriotic. if Alberta was in the US they'd make great Americans 😄
as it stands, right or left, few Albertans are voting Trudeau.
ah right haha
looks like they need some conservative Britonic immigrants
who are fleeing Europe h
haha
i listened to an interesting podcast by Brendan o neill
special guest tony abbott
Interesting chap
Culturally Alberta is closer to the US, it was colonized around the same time as the western US, a lot of people crossed back and forth across the boarder in the early days.
Canada is an odd blend of European and American cultures. some areas like the mid west you'd think you're in the US and in Quebec you'd think you were in France.
and Toronto is just a shit hole with nice buildings.
what about British columbia
unfortunately british membership of the euro twats has meant we have reduced cultural collaboration
BC is actually more euro/asian cultural mix nearer the coast. a lot of Chinese nationals whole left Hong Kong after the Chinese retook ownership in the late 90s. And despite Liberal efforts they've generally voted Conservative. and after the 13 year old Chinese Canadian girl was raped and murdered by a recent arrival syrian "refugee" and all Trudeau did was chuckle when asked about it that's not likely going to change.
I've only been to BC a couple times, but from what I've been told most of the province sways back and forth on the political spectrum
but I think they'll be voting Blue (our colours are reversed) as BC has also got the middle figure from justin
ah right
interesting that is
he claims that they are very anti Quebec
over there
You don't have to go far in English speaking Canada to find Quebec hate.
US has north and south.
Canada has French vs. everyone else
the one good thing you can say about Trudeau's father is that he was having none of Quebec's crap when they nearly rebelled in the 70s. He was ready to call the army on his home province
really?
in my view i think that they should have been given crown dependency status
of some sort
like the channel islands or the isle of mn
man
so the Canadian elections are gonna be held end of this year, right?
From the looks of it, only the libs and cons have an actual chance of winning this
Its always been that way. NDP are likely going to collapse this year
How are the Canadian conservatives?
Would you support them against Trudeau?
Hope they're not like the UK cons
I would and always have. They're not sellouts.
Canada first with strong immigration systems and coopperation with other nations but never submission. Sheer, the leader of the Cons is pro Brexit and is increasingly anti-UN
Oh that's great <:thumbsup:448311720742617089>
Its funny, Trudeau is a Globalist but has managed to piss off both China and Saudi Arabia to the point that Saudi called ALL its people home and China is threatening us with embargos.
<:laugh:448312947073351681>
Good luck Canadians
Please make the right choice
I hope we do. right now we got a leader who can't even sell us out right 😂
