I don't believe a denomination to be the true faith. Catholics have rejected baptism for seeking individuals and made people pay money for forgiveness of sins so the "one true faith" can be corrupted.
I would argue that the Church is the collection of righteous churches, under any denomination, so long as they worship in a manner pleasing to the Lord, regardless of manmade tradition.
Our first love is Christ, not the Pope or any tradition.
@saturnsrings Ragnarok is aggressive when he shouldn't have to be. A Christian let's their faith speak for itself.
@saturnsrings open your heart to the Lord because he loves you, and so does Jesus Christ. The first law was temporary to pave a path for Christ. Now the law is complete, and so we wait for the second coming.
When Christ comes back he will judge us by our works and by our faith, and those who did not obey the gospel will be sent to eternal damnation, whatever that might be.
@Iakovos do you reject communion for Jews and satanists?
Yes.
What about baptism?
Must be Christian.
Do you just give a bath to anyone who doesn't believe in it?
If someone is truly willing, let them be baptized.
It doesn't matter their political beliefs.
They have to go through preparation
Not everyone goes through preparation.
Political beliefs always matter because some beliefs will condemn someone to hell. Such as communism, abortion, etc.
I didn't. I confessed my sins, confessed Jesus as my Lord, was baptized and I felt the Holy Spirit enter and mark me.
Then you were prepared
I think that a communist who hates homosexuality and promotes Christianity will make it to heaven.
Jesus did say no matter your hours you should be paid the sane.
But we are not to just give away the sacraments and that's why we take a more cautious approach. But, someone undergoing preparation has the baptism of desire
So I can see a Christian Socialist..
That was a parable related to people who convert on their deathbed etc
By Jesus?
Passage please.
Matthew 20:1-16
But I know in my heart, and I pray to God that I take communion in a worthy manner, for those that don't sin against him and heaven.
Right.
So you work with what you agree.
Nothing wrong with a Christian Socialist so long as everyone works with what they agree to work.
But he was also referring to the Kingdom of Heaven.
Luke 10:7, 1st Timothy 5:18, Matthew 10:10, Leviticus 19:13, Deuteronomy 24:15
The passage can be taken literally and of spirituality.
Socialism is a mortal sin
And part of the basic tenets of socialism and communism is banning religion
Says the Catholics. If everyone agrees to work the same amount and be on equal grounds, so long as the institution is Christian, I see nothing wrong with that.
Personally, I'm not a socialist.
To agree, is not a socialist thing
That's a negotiation between the employee and employer
I was talking about socialist economics.
