She's not used to anything, she comes from a country where guns are almost universally banned. She got to shoot a Type 56 AK in college though, mandatory military training

Does the PPS have a safety?

If so I'd stay away from that. The G43 and shield can both go without safety. If she is just using it for self defense it will be easier and safer to just teach her proper handle without a safety.

No manual safety, just the same safety features as the others

So it's gonna be the Shield, LC9s, PPS M2, or G43. The Ruger has a safety though. You can get the Shield either way I think
