What do yall think of people with borderline personality disorder? Should they be exterminated, should they be allowed around people? Be allowed to marry?

So I have Borderline personality disorder. It stems from childhood trauma, abandonment issues, PTSD and was misdiagnosed as Bipolar 3 years ago.

I'm a pretty fucked up individual. But I want people's thoughts on this.

Especially those listed above because during my time in this discord those are the opinions I value the most.

I just want general opinions about people with BPD. What does society think about them?

Personally, I find people with personality disorders the realist people out there

they dont try and fake who they are, they've got too big things to worry about

people with personality disorders are existent, due to hard circumstances. As long as they can be productive in some way to the society, they deserve to be treated like any other hard worker

But what about the relationship issues these people cause? There are times when my temper explodes and I rage and say things I don't mean, later regretting them and having to heal a hurt relationship. The only thing that keeps them being around is that... they know the 'real' me in a sense. The stable me.

That and love. Love is a big thing.

There were a lot of people on the youtube comments talking about how ALL people should 110% avoid these people.

"Never, ever have a romantic relationship with them."

"Avoid them at all costs!"

Stuff like that.

those people don't deserve relationships, because they're assholes

I believe anyone is capable of love

Relationships are built on mutual respect, and love

If 2 people are together, who love each other, and know each other deeply, then I don't see any issues

the absolute failure of mental health services in the 21st century has had an irreversable effect on civilization.

Thing is Borderline isn't a mental illness, there is no chemical imbalance

its all a problem in the mind , some can be cured by drugs, some by working through the perceived fear with pure physiological analysis.
