If I were Kim and I saw that my only nuclear test site was destroyed:
Damn, I can't stand up to the world anymore until I dig out a new nuclear test site. I have no cards left, aside from the artillery that will bombad Seoul. What do?
I know. Declare peace. Get them off my back. The US and South Korea will then be unable to justify military readiness drills against me. It will look bad for them politically; I will be able to say they are uncommitted to peace. I won't be the bad guy.
I will also agree to de-nuclearization, but I won't commit to it. I will continue preparation for more nucelar testing: By the time I'm ready for nuclear testing again, Trump will be gone and a much more amenable US president will give me all the appeasement money I want.
In the mean time, I get embargos and sanctions lifted; I can trade with the rest of Asia and build up my personal wealth and military might.

Yeah but if they negotiate a deal, He could put in something that would prevent him from doing any nuclear testing and if he does, It'll end up like the Iran Deal, Gone. and Sanctions will be put back on. Our agencies aren't as stupid as people think.
By then it won't matter - with a pussy in the white house by the time they're ready again, they'll be able to write their own ticket. Won't matter if sanctions are threatened. They'll just appease Kim.
It's our job to make sure a pussy doesn't get into the white house.
