T-34's were better for Armor, as their armor was slanted and the shells would ricochet off the tank. Shermans were objectively better tanks. The armor designs for Panzer's sucked, but at least they had good guns.
and the new 90mm pershing that was simply a better tank by the start of 45
yeah the pershing was pretty amazing from what i've seen
@Iakovos not on the front. The T34 has less armour then the sherman. the sides are another story

but the real big thing is the numbers
to give you an idea. by 1944 for every 40 german tanks built there were 3000 shemans and 5000 T-34s
