We already pay taxes for it. Better if we were allowed to keep that money and send our kids to a private school
There's a handful of secular private schools but most are church based. Very few will teach this garbage
However, we wouldn't have this problem if we simply got all of these carpet baggers, put them in a boat, and "accidentally" popped a quark to let it slowly sink down in the Potomac.
That's the problem Virginia has right now. It's too many of these idiotic people from northern states coming down here and bringing their stupidity with them to try to change the ways of the people who've lived here for years.
They come down there and then bring their left-wing ideological beliefs with them when the vast majority of people who've been here for three generations or more don't care about their beliefs and actively speak against their beliefs.

Just remember: Many of the major regions that currently support left-wing populism are also the same regions that sided with the Union during the American Civil War.
Ironically, they have switched sides
Northerners (i.e. Yankees) have always been supporters of more centralized government and, in turn, tend to support Left-wing ideological principles.
Southerners have always been more for smaller government and held Jeffersonian and Jacksonian beliefs when it comes down to how the Federal Government should work.
Communists and other left-wing authoritarians being prominent in Northern states makes perfect sense because those states have always had a favorable view of central government, making them easier prey to Communism.
This isn't a simple question of strong vs decentralized government
The Democrats have always wanted money and power. That's why they fought the war. That's why they do what they do now, keeping entire races in vote-bondage with welfare
