i dont think TYT do a very good job at all at denouncing violence. some of the members may do better jobs than others but certainly some members are not just bad at denouncing violence but seem to sarcastically flirt with the idea that they support it. now this could be a strange left-wing version of people on the right pretending to agree with nazi shit because its "le edge"

i think TYT have very little respect for the position they have or the world around them, i dont think they are radical but i do think they are a representation of many problems with the society around the left, they are egotistical to the point of cognitive dissonance, they don't address problems internally but rather project issues onto the opponent weather appropriate or not, they over inflate what they think are priority issues in the world based on emotional appeal rather than practicality, they lack empathy for those they disagree with rather than those who truly represent what they claim to oppose, and they make wild assumptions about the beliefs of their opponents before they ever talk to them.

TYT is probably some of the BEST the left has to offer, which is a damn painful reality to think about, beyond TYT you really only get better representations of the left on an individual base or in cases of leftists who try to regulate what the left believes and are castigated for it.

i saw a video of this jimmy dore fellow the other day talking about the patreon thing i think, from what i could tell it was basicly a group of people who didint want to be talking about something they also had no clue about either, like most left wing voices these days discussing anything about the internet. i sometimes get the feeling that anyone on the left who has any amount of attention on them has some kind of deep seeded contempt for the internet, especially the older they are. its really weird because they like to cast this idea that the right is actually technologically incompetent but theres like 90 yo folk who are as competent on the internet or more so than most people 70 years young than them.

israel is certainly more socialist than the united states at any rate, but id more label them as 3rd position based on what is important to them. they have a very similar ideology to an early 20th century europe than they do modern europe or united states.
