I'm sorry we aren't old fag like you
I am also sorry for you.
Nigga I'm so old I played MMOs on dial up
Gah me too
Had a second phone line. Well... my parents did 🤷🏼♂️
Playing Everquest and Ultima Online
Then DSL came to our area.
UO was the shit dude
Drudge has a poll going asking whether Hillary should run again.

im only so old that I played Old School Runescape before it was old school
Just scroll down to it
I really liked UO. I was too young to really appreciate it. I did play one those free servers you could do locally and just fucked around. I was in middle school at that time.
also Old School Runescape Mobile is fucking awesome
Happy to finally have it on the go
Shadowbane was a lot of fun. Reminded me of UO. Then hackers ruined it.
Never got into Runescape.
Shadowbane???
Runescape requires a lot of grinding tbh so i'm not surprised. But it was fun to me. I still have my account
I played Atlantic, and Siege on official, then Hybrid, ABCUO, and been scripting on the side for years now
Oh NVM I thought you meant the UO server shadowbane, or was it shadow cove
I played runescape a bit when I was like 14 but the grinding killed it for me.
I did grind a bit to make some decent armor and then I got pvp scammed
was walking through a pvp area with a higher level player chatting
"nice armor" "thanks I made it" "hey wanna see something cool? punch me"
F
on that day I learned a valuable lesson
same
Yeah it was shadowcove
UO was a lot like RuneScape but very polished. Pretty much open world pvp and no levels. Everything was skill based, and pretty much every item could be player made. And you could buy houses
We hoarded our treasures in little shacks all over the world
were there crazy scams and stuff?
or was that runescape
pretty much the only thing I know about mmos is that some of them get crazy scams
or like eve online has assassins guilds who actually do in-game assassinations and stuff
Yeah we had that too
It was like a real world, except the magic and dragons etc
People would sell stuff that looked like rare items but was worthless, they'd find and exploit bugs to scam people during trades
If your name was red, it usually meant you were universally feared and respected because you'd murdered at least five innocent people and people would scatter like roaches when they saw you. Or, a big pack of blues (innocent people) would gang up and hunt your ass down
