Diseases can be cured. Addictions are about choices. Once your an addict that is it you'll be that way your whole life. Rather or not you use is up to you.

Addictive personalities are kinda prone to it, addiction is like depression or bi-polar in that it has to do with how your brain works

It's really conflicting for me because I'm simultaneously repulsed and sympathetic towards junkies. No one intends to be a smack addict.

Honestly the best way to combat the urge is to give back or too do what we all preach, self perservatiob

No, the intention isn't to go fuck evdroff but over time to avoid withdrawal they do very gross stuff and grimmy behavior

And leaving needles around is because they are bad people it's as simple as that

Then again to do sensible things you need some self worth and a feeling of belonging to the community
