Gay marriage doesn't exist. Marriage, so long as the idea existed, was always between man and woman. Granted, in the past, there has been the idea of multiple marriages, but the base idea of what constituted a marriage remained entirely the same. You can call it a gay union, a gay sign up sheet, a gay club, whatever you wish to call it, be honest in that it's certainly not marriage.

Mormons, so far as I understand them, are not strictly Trinitarian. From my perspective they are not Christians because of this. As a religion that concedes to polygamy, the point remains that each marriage is between man and woman. How many marriages are allowed does not change the quality of marriage itself.

The only reason God allowed the multiple wives back in the old testament is because men are jerks. He was absolutely not okay with it.

@The Eternal Leaf correct, Mormons do not follow the Trinitarian formula, nor do Jehovah's Witnesses. They are generally the nicest people with very stable family life, often military and law enforcement too
