@Kittys use incognito mode and a new IP

2018-10-24 17:55:48 UTC

If you're on a phone, turn off WiFi, turn on airplane mode for 30 seconds, then turn back off and your cell data will have a new IP

2018-10-24 17:55:54 UTC

Or get a VPN, like Windscribe

2018-10-24 17:57:25 UTC

Incognito mode is so it doesn't see your cookies from your last session which is one of the ways Facebook tracks you

2018-10-24 17:57:45 UTC

If you don't clear cookies it knows, and associates together, every account you've logged in with on that PC

2018-10-24 18:37:27 UTC

Guess I'll be doing that tonight

2018-10-24 18:38:52 UTC

also I have a VPN but some sites won't allow you to do certain things connected to it

2018-10-24 18:39:47 UTC

Oh one other thing usually they require a phone number what do you do for that?

2018-10-24 18:40:23 UTC

I ran into this issue when I was trying to get an account from scratch, it needed either a pre-existing email (which also needs a phone number to make these days) or a phone number on the site itself

2018-10-24 18:45:03 UTC

@Deleted User would your trick work with discord?

2018-10-24 18:57:22 UTC

Never tried it @Deleted User but since discord servers are all separate then I don't see why you can't just make another acct

2018-10-24 18:57:49 UTC

My trick will work with anything that doesn't require verification by phone etc

2018-10-24 18:58:03 UTC

Hmm

2018-10-24 18:58:50 UTC

I'm just thinking of fucking with a degenerate discord server

2018-10-24 18:59:29 UTC

@Kittys make an email in Google, then use the FB trick. Make sure you have a new IP and cleared cookies or in incognito mode

2018-10-24 18:59:37 UTC

It should just ask for email verification

2018-10-24 19:37:15 UTC

If it thinks you're using the same computer/connection as "another user" then it will prompt for a phone number

2018-10-24 19:37:37 UTC

so to make a gmail account I have to use incognito mode and clear cookies and also use a new IP?

2018-10-24 19:38:11 UTC

When you access FB, yes. GMail doesn't care about alts, and does not communicate their info to FB

2018-10-24 19:38:20 UTC

ok groovy

2018-10-24 19:38:30 UTC

but that's gonna make accessing the alt account a pain

2018-10-24 19:38:54 UTC

If you use Chrome Incognito, it basically opens up a new session of Chrome with its own cookies, cache etc which is wiped when you close it

2018-10-24 19:39:10 UTC

I use firefox but I'm assuming same principle

2018-10-24 19:39:13 UTC

So you can do that and it would be a bit easier. Just make sure you have a new IP

2018-10-24 19:39:24 UTC

Yeah I bet fox has something like incognito

2018-10-24 19:39:50 UTC

I try to use google as little as possible

My biggest problem with them

2018-10-24 19:40:52 UTC

the fuck is that

2018-10-24 19:41:01 UTC

All the RAM that Chrome sucks

2018-10-24 19:41:06 UTC

yeeaaah

2018-10-24 19:41:39 UTC

Damn near half a gig

2018-10-24 19:42:14 UTC

there's no reason a web browser should be using half a gigglebrick of ram

2018-10-24 19:43:18 UTC

How much does fox use?

2018-10-24 19:53:45 UTC

about the same

2018-10-24 19:54:24 UTC

idk if it's browsers or just shitty webpage javascript

2018-10-24 20:02:15 UTC

man the hoops I have to jump through to maintain my access to big anime tiddy discord channels is nuts

2018-10-24 20:20:09 UTC
