@Ehzek I took a few classes and didn't learn shit. Everything a cop needs to know is learned on the job

@Deleted User Only class I would recommend is the report writing as it was taught by a defense/prosecutor and heavily focused on active voice and english mechanics

We have a state academy that offers all of those

Where I live, college police training isn't very common

Maybe but this gave the defense and prosecutor side of it which helped and it also sharpened my english skills more than my actual english class at less than a third of the work.

It was more the teacher than anything honestly

They teach at our academies too. Some states have a more college based thing

Im thinking about it but I there was going to be more worth while classes. Im probably going to go back in the military to get that retirement though. I did 6 years and really only have to make E6 to coast to retirement.
