Although the BSA allows girls now, they still heavily emphasize outdoor activities, community service projects, leadership skills, and require you to be a part of some faith to achieve the rank of Eagle

It was fairly common to see 13 year old Eagle Scouts
Mormon boys are 20% of the BSA's membership.
And a majority of them don't want to even be there lol
They use it as their youth program
