I give it 1-2 weeks and Trump's gonna initiate a state of emergency, he pretty much called the Dems bluff forcing them to look like bumbling fools. Pelosi and Schumer looked like actual robots tonight.

Except for the fact that the dems could end it at any time by just giving the funding. They are holding them as much hostage as anyone. Thing is the only people really hurt by the shut down are dems. Most Republican workers, while strained still want the wall. But the second food benefits get cut its all loss for dems putting their opposition above not only their base and citizens but even DACA as the Republicans have floated that as well.

They are literally opposing just to oppose.

That's the best part, no matter how this goes the Dems look bad. If they cave and fund the wall they look weak, if don't cave and force Trump to act they show that they aren't willing to compromise on anything and are holding out because orange man bad. It's honestly just sad at this point.
