@Timcast will you do a video on journalists playing telephone? ie: often satire or claims that something may be possible but unlikely are clearly stated in the original article as such, but as time progresses, articles drawing from the original leave out information, and eventually after several iterations something gets used as hard facts when in fact the foundation was not.

I mean he's talked about the one we've memed on a bit in here
"I don't like X, (I think) He's a Nazi" -Reddit
"Breaking News, Alleged Nazi X..." -Actual news org

2018-08-14 16:00:29 UTC

I don't mean on any specific case, more in the overall picture, an analysis of this phenomena as it is prevalent so frequent, and causes so much damage.

2018-08-14 16:03:36 UTC

Right but I mean that the trading around of a rumor until it becomes fact is a lot worse than taking a joke and posting it as fact

2018-08-14 16:04:25 UTC

Alex Jones as reach major meme status

2018-08-14 16:04:50 UTC

They have just made him more powerful in their attempts to defeat him

2018-08-14 16:06:35 UTC

Human banned from reptilian social media: "I am growing stronger"

2018-08-14 16:06:59 UTC

Is Alex Jones really Thanos?

2018-08-14 16:19:24 UTC

The banned accounts are the infinity stones

2018-08-14 16:23:15 UTC

Now he will wipe out all the reptilian demons and their gay bombs

2018-08-14 16:29:52 UTC

You do know that was a weapons project at DARPA right?

2018-08-14 16:34:15 UTC

I wouldn't be surprised, coming from the country that tried to produce psychic warriors

2018-08-14 16:37:18 UTC

The proposal was for a "Less than lethal" chemical weapon that would "Eliminate an enemy force by inducing lust in the soldiers so they will immediately try to have sex with the closest person to them" by spraying them with pheromones... The project was rejected after the formal proposal was read and at that point it got the nickname.

2018-08-14 16:40:13 UTC

Rejected, but not forgotten. RIP Frogs

2018-08-14 17:37:52 UTC

“ Before ‘Unite The Right’ rally, Trump does not condemn supremacist “ by Noah Weiland On The New York Times

Trump condemned “ all types of racism “ . This article debunks itself in its first paragraph. Claiming that white supremacy isn’t covered under all racism is absurd.

“ Some online ‘mobs’ are vicious. Others are perfectly Rational “ by Amanda Hess on The New York Times

There’s a famous SJW quote . “There are no bad tactics, just bad targets.” This article is just a long winded version of that. Right out of the Rules for Radicals playbook.

In case anyone wanted to see a moron calling all attendees of "Unite the Right" white supremacists and fascists.

2018-08-15 01:20:29 UTC

This passes as news nowadays? 🤔

2018-08-15 02:55:49 UTC

I'm fairly out of the loop on things involving the "unite the right" and the facts involving the event.
I hear the media referring to the event as every bad name they could throw at it; in reflex i assumed it was mostly lies like their playbook they use of fake news.
I even defended the event and the people there out of my assumption and probably would've went had it been closer but I'm not too sure what to think about it now after seeing how bad some people are, as well as seeing genuine white supremacists and fascists.

2018-08-15 03:04:05 UTC

UTR is def a white supremacist outfit, i wouldn't go around defending them(unless that is your thing i guess) but after last year, no one wanted to come out this time around

2018-08-15 03:04:06 UTC

makes sense

2018-08-15 03:06:21 UTC

I defended them from a position of ignorance and defiance of the media, at the time I just assumed everything they said, the opposite was true
especially when they went and called antifa peaceful protesters
I don't exactly feel good having defended them in hindsight

2018-08-15 03:08:12 UTC

totally understand why you would feel that way, that was me during the last one.. until i realized that it was the one time that there were actual neo-nazi's lol

2018-08-15 03:08:25 UTC

To be honest, the name itself gave off some bad vibes

2018-08-15 03:08:29 UTC

that's what happens when the media cries wolf

2018-08-15 03:08:33 UTC

"Unite the right"

2018-08-15 03:08:36 UTC

you think so?

2018-08-15 03:08:55 UTC

'Unite the *White*' maybe

2018-08-15 03:09:00 UTC

Well, it was just a conspiracy for me. But the name felt like an attempt to group up the entire right

2018-08-15 03:09:10 UTC

oh i see what you mean

2018-08-15 03:09:13 UTC

true

2018-08-15 03:09:17 UTC

To give the MSM a reason to lump in extremists with the moderates

2018-08-15 03:09:34 UTC

I don't exactly think the name gives bad vibes
to me it seems more like a thing to unify the conservatives into something more than what they are
but that's just how I took the name

2018-08-15 03:09:55 UTC

Thing is, thats probably what they intended it to come off as

2018-08-15 03:10:19 UTC

then the media uses it to lump everyone in

2018-08-15 03:10:35 UTC

Like in charlottesvile. One person died.

2018-08-15 03:10:39 UTC

Guess who they blamed
