I've had to explain to so many people why I don't have the app
Friends, family, godparents etc have used the FB app and FB messenger, and they'll have a conversation in person and suddenly see relevant ads

And disabled browser messaging from mobile, you can trick it easily of course
Yeah I've seen that the app listens in on you
Had it happen to my mom often
