If there’s a CPS claim from neighbors and CPS shows up and asks the “victim” about their situation. If the victim claims everything is fine and wants to stay with the parents, there isn’t much CPS can do without serious harm being done to the children.

CPS = child protective services.

Similar situation... a wife calls the law on her husband that just gave her a black eye. They ask if she wants to press charge against him. If she says yes, then backs out before all the paperwork is completed, it gets noted that she’s likely not to follow through on her legal claims.

Which that makes it harder for you to actually do anything later if you change your mind.

Pretty sure that’s not a legal procedure or department policy, but it still happens.

see for me its a different story. I'm trying to get in, I was homeschooled a lot due to the remoteness of where I lived. I took an online highschool program that "was" accepted everywhere until I was in grade 12 when Ontario changed the rules to not accepted online schooling.

So now I basically have to take exams proving I did all of highschool but I haven't done it in 6 years and I can't remember everything no matter how hard I study because I still have a life and can't waste 5+ hours to study. I literally have a diploma on my wall but its not accepted.
