She most likely did those things because she was already losing badly. Same as when she threatened to force a ball down that line judge's throat 10 years ago. She was losing and got a minor penalty, so she threw a tantrum.
yeah bringing sexism into it jsut makes her look bad. lol had to fact check the CBC radios reporting on it for my mom cuz they left out a few important details like that her coach admitted to it to stop my mom from yelling at the radio XD
She never was fined for winning but let’s be honest. If you’re fined $17,000 USD after winning $1,800,000
I don’t think you’d care
For not winning *
*sigh* A friend of mine just unironically made the Jet Fuel Doesn't Melt Steel Beams argument...
Jet fuel does not in fact melt steel beams
But it does make it very soft and malleable
mmhmm
Would you look at that?
Yeah jet fuel just made them weak. It didn’t melt them 🤷♂️
Is this Reaaaaally gonna happen
Hahahaha
of course it would
That's the point.
todays the "best" day for it
It all depends on your definition of “melt”
No, it doesn't.
It depends on the implication.
The implication is that steel behaves like Ice.
"But it does make it very soft and malleable" pretty sure this is what typically occurs
Yup.
Basic metallurgy.
You don't have to melt the steel to fold it.
in fact
Yeah so does it turn to liquid or is melt just making it soft
if you DID melt the steel, it'd defeat the purpose.
it bent
didnt melt
Because it definitely melted if the definition is making it soft
And then it buckled under the weight of the top stories
melting would imply it became a liquid
but bending would also cause structural instability
The definition is melt: make or become liquefied by heating.
By definition it didn’t melt
Now, if they're trying to bring around conspiracy theories, WTC7 would be a better place to start...
Regardless of HOW things happened they still happened
But that’s sorta ruined by the fact structural steel never actually melts
Oh it’s September 11th over there
I forgot you’re in the past
