If you want to commune you have to fast on wednesday and friday + the day of the communion you should not eat anything as the first thing to eat should be the blood and body of Christ @Iakovos

first week is the life Christ until his death and his revival and the second week is from his revival and onwards

I often skip the fasting involved with Jewish holidays although there are very few holidays where you are supposed to fast. I'm a reform Jew though so I don't take religion too seriously. Like I eat bacon (love it!) and work on Saturdays.

I had to in order to live there for 3 years to be around my dad and help him out. I am back in the US now and frequently go over to Israel because my dad is currently in a nursing home over there. He had a stroke and is mentally there but can't move his entire left side.
