I would say it is, because its inevitable when you are required to lobby the government to get anything done

I can not say the same about the situaiton in Sweden..
Perhaps i have assumed that the generall standards in the west were simmilar

in Sweden, only talk is about Hungary and Poland these days

this is nothing new, this has been going on for years

A small county it may be, but not much more than a small minotity with a strong will is requierd for great change.

It is very sadening when you must see your home turn to the worse

Corruption is often very hard to stop if it is not in it's early stages

I can give some very clear examples as well:
Certain Socialist party heads found to be seating at charity instances and stealing money from them

Completion of a road has to be done since 1975, still not even started to build

Whole shopping complex being put down someplace, turns out they didnt follow the proper procedure to find the best contractor

Well here the left has apointed sympathizing executives to the public branches for decades. Be it the legal way though, making it almost imposible to move the country in an other political direction

And if i got a bit further back, governments building useless structures that never been used after construction, just to spent their portion of the taxpayers money

regional governments that is

But i will still claim we both are very far from the Chinese when it comes to corruption in both finance and politics

Same with schools here, spending money on pointless things because otherwise they get less the year after

School directors now being paid equally across the board regardless of the size of school

let's hope the EU elections stop turning red all the time. We need to return to the basis of simply having economic and toll contracts, not a damn federal state

What i mean with were heading there is people getting arrested over saying offensive things, this luckily hasnt really happened here yet except for cases where there is a call to violence, but it has in other countries in the EU.
