and there are rules when u rent a place from the state

Now we need to ask if the government is required to provide housing to those who go against them

especially when thats combined when you're on welfare

To give an example:

If you are on welfare and live in a government house

lets say you meet your future wife or something or a GF

If you decide to let her live there

then your welfare will be cut hard

as will your costs of living rise

its doing the opposite of what would get ppl sorthed out and perpetuates poverty

Im not gonna lie, at this stage i wouldnt be surprised about any of this stuff

Either it will be silent and through minor changes to laws

Or it will become common practice without any official change in policy

The government cant say they wont build social houses for people that think X or something

But what is there to stop them from enacting "positive discrimination" against people

they already do it on the federal level

by handling quota's for women

Also women with kids already do receive priority when it comes to social housing

so it already exists
