it's not a problem
...
so you are fine with large companies bribing the government to remove their competition while they keep using the same practice?
the big companies can't hire illegals
if they do, they pay
but they can afford to pay
not a problem
they pay, the illegals get deported
and their competition goes out of business, leaving them the only game in town.
they won't go out of business if they dont use illegals
allowing them to increase profit margins, making the risk for hiring illegals lower, so they keep doing it and just dodge the government for long enouhg
but the big guy is using illegals
his labor costs are lower
therefore to undercut him, you need to get your labor costs down
mate, illegals are a risk. If you increase the punishment
you increase the risk
^
let them pay billions
they will only do it if it's worth it
the higher the risk, the cheaper it becomes to play off the corruption in our system
You turn the punishment into blackmail when it gets that high.
"you could pay out billions to the government... or just pay my audit department a few million under the table"
this is how our system works.
you really are using the typical "too big to fail" arguments
maybe where you are from, big business don't run the place. But in the US, they do.
and making the government even more a tool for corporations doesn't fix that problem.
this isn't a new trend. the 2016 election cycle should have showed you that.
they still aren't above the law, you make it sound like ppl at google can rape people and the courts can ignore the evidence
they often do.
until it becomes a valuable political move to get them jailed
ppl, the patriarchy is real
but it needs to get to court first.
patriarchy? no. Corruption? yes.
Look at the fucking left!
look at the shit they have been pulling and you tell me this won't end up in the mud too?
when you have an option to avoid the mud that doesn't require fucking even more with the free market or doubling down on the already broken system.
Mah #FREEMARKET
What about my idea that all incorporated entities must have a designated chief human resources officer with authority over hiring and that person is personally criminally responsible for systematic hiring of illegals? Kinda like Sarbanes-Oxley did for fraudulent accounting.
