Postmodernism is cancer upon the West and intellectualism as a whole.

How so?

There are objective truths.

Past events show a clear line of cause and effect.

There are natural laws that must be obeyed.

It's the idea proposing objectivity and the concept of truth is a lie

It's so flexible that it's basically bulletproof

Postmodernists deny those facts and embrace a world of pure subjectivity.

For example "There are no natural sex differences, there are only docile bodies"

Objective facts include that the solar system is heliocentric, the Earth is round, murder is wrong, rape is wrong, cannibalism is wrong, eating dogs is wrong, etc.

No amount of cultural relativism or sociology will ever convince me that eating dogs is morally right or civilized.

You can tell when people are actually empathetic because they will approach the issues of someone they don't agree with from an outside perspective, even if at the end of the day they don't agree with that process
