Left used to include liberals

But looks like the right is now for Liberals
he breaks it down to include 5 distinct "moral foundations"
Progressives are on the left
"left" and "right" are coalitions

And on issues there are alternative ways to meet specific objectives
Conservatives and Liberals are largely on the same side today

Not entirely. Many of those people are SocDems, and definitely fall under the liberal category
The most distinctive seperation ive seen between left and right is the level of federal government intervention
For modern politics, I'd say the right is way more on the freedom and liberty side for sure
