Im an unethical man
I actually
*buy the DVDs when I like the show*
Or when I can't find it, see: Yamato 2199
One nice one is that Thunderbolt Fantasy got officially YouTube'd, which is great because the DVDs are fucking expensive
Blu rays costs a bomb here
Heard its quite a bit cheaper in the us
Thunderbolt Fantasy didn't get an official physical release here AFAIK, so it's just expensive Asia region imports
And they split a 14 episode season into multiple DVDs iirc
The actual fuck.
Thats how all Anime was put out for a while. Each series got multie disk volumes with 4 Episodes per disk
@YuXiang im a filthy phucking pirate also
Yarr.
There we go, it's like 4 100+ dollar import blurays
It's shit
Im going to stay a pirate until we have something better than CR
The US partners have seen the light and are now offering Series and Seasons value packs. One company does "S.A.V.E. Super Awesome Value Edition" with complete series DVDs and Blu Rays for a relative low cost.
EG $15, $20, $25
Funimation usually sells shit for a decent price. 30 bucks for all of Cowboy Bebop or Samurai Champloo? Sure
Dunno what their other practices are like though
I think it is a question of episode numbers and popularity.
To an extent yeah
Gurren Lagann was breaking my balls for a bit though, until I found a 30 dollar collection
Everything was the segmented bluray shit
Or the closing in on 1k collector's edition
If you have a weekly show there is, what? like 45 episodes a season?
Think about how many anime pillows you couldve gotten
( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
Usually they don't go all year round
If you run 45 weeks with a five day a week show for sindication that is 225 episodes?
The only thing i buy is nintendo switch games
You normally get 10-15 episodes per season
52 weeks a year do over a month off, for the old cartoons
With the "trilogy length" equivalent for anime being 26 episodes total

Grow a pair and yell back
Or mute, whatever

Remember when harrowing used to mean like life threatening or dangerous?
I remember when blizzard removed the sorry emote from hearthstone because people were using it to BM. and replaced it with the Wow emote, where people used to BM even harder.
