the activists defending antifa after charlottesville when I know for a fact that they are lying becuase one of them has been seen in photos at white nationalist events

2018-08-15 13:18:51 UTC

i dont mean rallies

2018-08-15 13:18:53 UTC

i mean private parties

2018-08-15 13:18:58 UTC

drinking and smiling n shit

2018-08-15 13:19:03 UTC

then they claim they are being threatened

2018-08-15 13:20:13 UTC

If you don't believe in objective reality then you can believe whatever is most convenient for you at the moment. Now they probably really believe they were being threatened even though the record says otherwise.

2018-08-15 13:20:39 UTC

nah they r lying

2018-08-15 13:20:52 UTC

Lying implies that one believes in truth.

2018-08-15 13:21:49 UTC

true
saying something untrue != lying

2018-08-15 13:22:08 UTC

Postmodernism is a helluva drug.

2018-08-15 13:22:50 UTC

Tim if you have not read or listened to Explaining Postmodernism by Stephen Hicks it is really worth your while.

2018-08-15 13:24:40 UTC

lying means they intentionally expressed misinformation

2018-08-15 13:24:49 UTC

@Atkins about steemit, the closest i came to an answer about "where does the money come from" seems to be that basically people get paid with interest, and actual money comes from basically investors or people who pay you for the token. So there will be 100 tokens in the system valued at lets say 1000 bucks in total. A new steem token is generated so there is now 101 tokens but still only 1000 bucks of worth unless someone decides a token is worth more than 9.99 bucks or whatever.

2018-08-15 13:25:33 UTC

yeah in this context it certainly sounds like they were intentionally lying

2018-08-15 13:26:19 UTC

everyone lies though, but some people do it more frequently and about bigger things

2018-08-15 13:26:25 UTC

lying seems to be a way of life for some

its funny, i wonder if crypto currencies falling in price is technically a bad thing or a good thing

2018-08-15 13:30:57 UTC

the cheaper the are, the more normal people can get them, the more they stand a chance of being main stream

2018-08-15 13:31:04 UTC

neither, it just reflects the current wantness of it

2018-08-15 13:31:09 UTC

everyone can get crypto my negro

2018-08-15 13:31:17 UTC

if you got 10 bucks you can get some crypto

2018-08-15 13:31:29 UTC

ye it wont be an antire bitcoin

2018-08-15 13:31:39 UTC

the price of it doesnt mean anything when you buy it since you can buy as small fractions as you want

2018-08-15 13:31:40 UTC

but a fraction

2018-08-15 13:31:52 UTC

it just means something if you factor in time

2018-08-15 13:32:12 UTC

cryptos suffer the same problem as like bitchute

2018-08-15 13:32:23 UTC

need a bunch of large fish to start using them to sell things

2018-08-15 13:32:58 UTC

yeah
not necessarily large fish, just fish you want to interact with

2018-08-15 13:33:32 UTC

your local drug dealer has to accept steemit for it to go up in value

2018-08-15 13:33:34 UTC

no, it needs large fish. a few of them

2018-08-15 13:33:45 UTC

like amazon, walmart, and target or something like that

2018-08-15 13:33:51 UTC

places normies go

2018-08-15 13:33:57 UTC

2018-08-15 13:34:15 UTC

2018-08-15 13:34:28 UTC

2018-08-15 13:34:46 UTC

microsoft accepts bitcoin, but they dont even know that themselves when you contact support

2018-08-15 13:34:56 UTC

well that is the problem

2018-08-15 13:35:07 UTC

none are really out right supportive of it

2018-08-15 13:35:28 UTC

its hidden away like a good return policy
