I find that vague platform rules are always just a catch all for removing ideas and people you dont like

The rules seem to be intentionally nebulous on most websites so that the bans can be doled out as pleased, or so that mistaken bans can be excused

there have been a few with a really blatant ingroup that got away with murder and kept special privileges, while other users were banned for small infractions
