Because %20 off is too nice to pass up

2018-08-17 00:50:20 UTC

Like, i can wait a couple months or years till the game of the year edition is 75% off

2018-08-17 00:50:23 UTC

You can do that day of though @Sugar Free no?

2018-08-17 00:50:32 UTC

i preorderd octopath travler special edition

2018-08-17 00:50:46 UTC

@Redneo basically what I do

2018-08-17 00:50:54 UTC

Idk.

I pre-ordered Octopath too because you were able to play the full game for three hours haha

2018-08-17 00:51:08 UTC

I do the same thing. Wait for the price to go way down. It seems like its often just the hype that sells games often times on release

2018-08-17 00:51:33 UTC

Or wait until steam sales haha

2018-08-17 00:51:34 UTC

if i buy any AAA game , that is. I tend to prefer indie games, often in early access. Sure, i dont buy em if they arent worth it as they are but i enjoy coming back every couple months to new content and improvements

2018-08-17 00:51:59 UTC

I'm talking more about when people jump on pre-order immediately available or with basically no info

2018-08-17 00:52:01 UTC

i preorderd this

2018-08-17 00:52:15 UTC

I would wait for game play reviews first

2018-08-17 00:52:19 UTC

Yeah, jumping the gun like that is always bad for the consumer and industry

2018-08-17 00:53:17 UTC

vk4 demo is awesome and I played the first three awesome fucking games

2018-08-17 00:53:28 UTC

Probably a safe bet, I would still wait til month of though personally

2018-08-17 00:53:35 UTC

Demo helps

2018-08-17 00:53:49 UTC

@ExceptionalFeather i agree certain games i wont preorder unless i know its gun b gud

2018-08-17 00:53:54 UTC

Didn't realize one out so early

2018-08-17 00:53:59 UTC

I wish more publishers had the confidence to do more demos

2018-08-17 00:54:25 UTC

Games are pretty bad lately, they don't want to drive sales down

2018-08-17 00:54:32 UTC

@Sugar Free exactly

2018-08-17 00:54:48 UTC

Demos only help them if the game is good

2018-08-17 00:54:52 UTC

Big names anyway

2018-08-17 00:55:01 UTC

Then make good games :^)

2018-08-17 00:55:06 UTC

but that takes effort

2018-08-17 00:55:29 UTC

Why bother when people give you millions just because of a popular name

2018-08-17 00:55:42 UTC

Like cod or battlefield? ...

2018-08-17 00:56:05 UTC

Post spectrum is a good alternative to battlefield 5 and it's $20

2018-08-17 00:56:08 UTC

I just pirate if I feel I need a demo to determine if it's worth it

2018-08-17 00:56:12 UTC

Squad is a good alternative too

2018-08-17 00:56:42 UTC

I would spend far less on games if piracy wasn't an option since I have so little to spare I wouldn't be willing to take any risks

2018-08-17 00:56:44 UTC

Same. Big titles in general i dont buy before pirating to see if it even works on my rig.

2018-08-17 00:56:56 UTC

which isnt really top notch

2018-08-17 00:57:41 UTC

Same with comics. I'd buy 0 comics if piracy weren't an option because almost all comics suck.

2018-08-17 00:57:50 UTC

@Sugar Free Whats post spectrum i just googled and search steam nada

2018-08-17 00:57:52 UTC

As long as you pay for the ones you enjoy

2018-08-17 00:57:52 UTC

I'm the same with anime

2018-08-17 00:58:16 UTC

I do, I care a lot about supporting good art/entertainment
