#1. Clear the top soil of the farmland you want to use. Bag it and get rid of it.
#2. You filter the water from irrigations. Store the water in underground area.
#3. Look for seeds that have been kept from nuclear fallout radiation. Store seeds you get or barter for underground.
#4. Create a Greenhouse over your farm land to keep any radioactive rain from seeping into soil. Bag and get rid of soil around greenhouse when it is time.
#5. Plant the seeds during the season, keep vigilant eye on your crops. Once harvest comes, get the crops and store them underground.

Most of your resources and stuff need to be stored underground to keep them from becoming radioactive.

The greenhouse must be lined with lead with only the roof having glass.

You can use lead base paint to protect your homes and community if you want.

Just make sure you use a clear coating over the lead base paint so no one is poisoned by it.

God, if it was the end of the world, I’d just be a anarcho-primitive. I have a lot of skills to survive on my own due to how often I hunt and camp. Not to mention I have a lot of training making primitive tools and weapons. Probably just come out of the woods once a year, trade, and just fuck off.
