Unless there is a resource war.
Then AFrica would be focal point of conflict.
How much can you salvage on reloading benches though?
Don't you still need slugs and explosive?
Mostly the brass rounds.
I doubt we will have much need for explosives.
Only in the most dire situations.
Would your community accept annexation from the eventual reorganization of the US government?
If I was leader, yes.
@Dusty Morgan When I said explosive I really meant primer for the rounds.
As long as we can dictate our own rules.
That wouldn't be the case.
Oh... primers.
The government would likely be dictatorial or military in nature.
Well that is why I would ask for retired military personal if there is any.
Well for the safety of my people, I would probably surrunder.
You need saltpeter to make more gunpowder
Gunpowder =/= black powder
Military would be strong enough to wipe us out, a small city like Stillater.
Stillwater.
I would ask if I could keep leading Stillwater to keep rebuilding.
That's actually the trick isn't it.
I would try to convince them, keeping me in leadership would be benefitial to them.
You would presumably be forging relationships with other surviving cities.
Gunpowder literally is black powder dude. You're thinking of smokeless powder
Yeah that is what I think would be a good idea Pratel.
Modern primer is usually a high explosive miss.
WE are already on a different subject Missdanger.
I assumed you meant modern gunpowder, didn't think you were talking about muskets and early cowboy guns
Talking about Forging relationships and dealing with the remaining Untied States Military.
This chat is going 2fast4me
I would try my best to rebuild to the best I can. Forging relationships with surviving cities and establish some kind of government from what is left over.
Try to rebuild, basically that is what I would be aiming for.
Rebuilding.
I actually think you'd see the fragmentation of governments.
really though potassium nitrate isn't too hard to manufacture from urine
No doubt.
That will be the tricky part.
Getting people to come together as one.
Alot of the real arguments would be all the people claiming to be the true government with no representatives actually present.
