I think it's mainly the people who build their identity around being atheist that are the annoying ones. Since most of them tend to have felt really betrayed by their upbringing
My summation is this, I will not approve of action taken against people who hold a set of beliefs just because the beliefs are certifiably terrible. I will always condemn the actions taken, instead.

Hobbies not neccesarily, but that's exactly my point that people look for something to believe in and if you remove religion, there is a void that has to be filled somehow.
Lacking belief is not something you can get aggressive about. Insisting other people not believe in THEIR shit, is. And there's a word for that. A different word. ANTI-THEIST.
@Khanclansith ya thats my problem, i suppose its worthwhile to preface 'Militant Athieist', they are no more athieist , but like to somehow pretend they are and want to demand people bend to them

@Scribblehatch We use the word "militant Christian" to refer to people who go around proselytizing all the time and trying to ban any displays that offend their religious sensibilities. It is only logical to extend that to atheists to proselytize and file lawsuits anytime someone says "god" or puts up a 10 commandments display.
