So when asked in these hearings "Are you shadowbanning" they can say no.
I mean. They're not in that kind of hotwater if they're asked the question "Do you plan to do it in the future" and say "No" and then end up doing it, right?
I don't think it's a victory at all. I think it's a dodge.
--Seems some youtube commenters are already saying the same. o:
And the video also sorta covers that possibility. D'oh.
surely theyll see this and just change the question to "have you ever shadowbanned anyone on twitter"
The question is how well the court is familiar with the concept of what shadowbanning is. Remember that post twitter made about "we don't shadowban people, we just make it so other people don't see their posts!"? That sort of argument would work pretty well against people who don't know what shadowbanning really is
well, they can't go back, the internet has proof now
If they testify they don't do it, then they can't go back to banning / shadowbanning, because they'll then give proof they did it to scam congress
Plok was such a hard game
I really hate adults who have no idea of concepts that are important to the most amount of people
If you don't know what a shadowban is, or don't have the aptitude to quickly learn it, you have NO PLACE deciding policy for the public.
parents just don't understand
"I don't know what that is, I just enforce it."

Just watched the video about trans being trendy. I think people would do it due to social pressure and not because they actually have gender dysphoria. A good alternate example of people doing things that hurt themselves just because everyone else is doing it is the tide pod challenge. If people would eat tide pods for social acceptance it would not surprise me at all if kids are becoming trans for the same reason (and that's not even bringing up victim mentality where if you become a victim you get more power/privilege).
its not like the tide pod challenge
if we buy into it at all that it can often be a trend, its still a coping mechanism eitherway brought forth from neuroticism
people are also forgetting when they look into this
not that its trendy, but that its actually viable now that if you start young (depending on body/face 18-22ish...ofc some people pass starting later) you can actually get to a point where you pass socially as a women. That wasn't imaginable before outside of teenage years, or maybe till mid-late 20s if you were super babyfaced etc, in short wasn't imaginable in practice at all
dude looks alot like flula
