Imo the lesson here is very important.
Need to bring as many people as we can with shields and sticks, and cycle them throug.
If someone gets in a fight, seriously whacks someone, they leave.
Sticks are good, but only for hitting people who are attacking you/others.
I'm not saying aggressively attack people, I'm just saying that if a fight breaks out, and they hit someone hard, they should leave.
i'm a european history guy, but I know a tiny bit about the early 1900s, and yeah.
thuggery was not nearly as widespread in the cities. most of that behavior comes from drug dealing, and needing to control territory. back then, drug dealing didn't exist. small time criminals basically only worked as stick-up men or burglars. organized crime groups got most of their money from extortion, and what little bootlegging/drug running was usually tightly controlled
you didn't have "gangs" back then, you had "organizations" which usually had deals with each other to stay out of their business. that meant that killings were extremely rare, and when they happened, they were much worse than you see today.
compare a single drug dealer getting shot on a street with the st. valentine's day massacre.
of course, people would occasionally get in fights and shoot each other, and there were always people doing various small crime, but you didn't see the kind of gang violence we see today.

If you're defending yourself and others too aggressively, the bay area machine will try to arrest you and press charges.

If a fight breaks out in Texas, for example, don't run away. If the cops arrest you, then you'll just need to get a decent lawyer and you'll get off on stand your ground easy.
But in the Bay Area, if a fight breaks out, you should be conscious of how much heat you're attracting. If it's too much, get out.
It is, but it gives us a place to confront antifa.
We can't exactly take it back, but confronting them here will keep them from spreading.
And yeah, if we can defeat them in their most powerful area, imagine how demoralizing that'll be for them.
