How can we know what Jesus' words meant if we do not care about semantics
Lol the Jake Paul video
Probably not 2tb of text
but all the individual gifs are 2tb together
There all imgur links bro he just needs the text
> radiation is a myth >uranium is strictly controlled to prevent proliferation of a superior source of energy ๐ค
>radiation isnt real
x-rays will remember that
or just
visible
light
the most dangerous of them all
since when does something naturally occurring mean its the only thing which exists?
Synthetic polymers and plastics arent naturally occuring but I dont see you denying them
Why does it matter if X-rays appear in nature?
all doctors are in on it
I get hungover on wine and beer
when I only drink like whiskey or rum or vodka I never get hungover
very strange ๐คท
what do you mean by directly observed?
You don't directly observe anything in day to day life.
Its always light interacting with the object and making its way to your eye
?
lol
How do you guys know anything exists smh you're all so silly lol
> maxwells equations depend on aether
> covariant formulation of E&M will remember that
If you guys want a complete undergraduate level overview of physics research this http://www.feynmanlectures.caltech.edu/
๐
What is that
that literally sounds like the definition of a capacitor
ngl
Wait what cant be explained about that experiment?
??? Objects resist changes in motion, we do not say there is some mass-aether which resists our pull
you can make a similar argument in the case of capacitors
I like Go more
Using your foot to play soccer is unnatural, we shouldn't play soccer
Natural law theory ๐ด
Don't tread on me government unless it's to stop gay marriage then tred on my daddy OwO
Are these simulations done with the light source billions of radii away from the sphere?
yeah make the light the same relative distance away from sphere as spherical earth models it to be
which is like billions of radii
what is cold light and how does it differ from hot light
how much colder is it
why is it colder
๐ค
I got a 5 on that stuff ๐ค
I'm not paying a lot to get my education
that is why I'm getting it
I don't know, it depends on people's financial circumstances
If you want to work in a field where everyone has a college education, your probably going to have to get one yourself, so you might be willing to pay more
you shouldn't be paying like 150k+ to go to some mid tier school and live on campus and party
That's just silly
you should go to college for a job in the future
pressure is defined as force over an area
if you believe Newton's laws, weight is a force.
Idk how people talk about Archimedes principal when it is defined in terms of weight, and weight is itself a force
a simple experiment in a centrifuge will show applying more force will cause a solution of solvents of different densities to separate faster
๐คท
showing how Archimedes principal requires a force to actually work
I'm sure you could design some free fall experiments with rapidly sedimenting objects in a solution to show this, but it should be obvious. In free fall the solution will kind of just fall and wobble about all at the same rate, not separating
God gave us faulty appendixes to kill us bless him
if you die from appendicitis you didn't have enough faith
If you need Insulin shots you need to go to a church
@raspberry yes and I have heard people say gravity can instead be explained by Archimedes principal which I was trying to show as not really making sense
^
^^
What cat said
@the21cat in globe earth centripetal force is a real thing
I like arguing just about Newton's laws...
like usually people will say something contradictory to them
And I will just go ????
Well
globe model has it down pretty well lol
It's just your average person here hasn't seen relativity outside of an undergraduate physics setting
So they have a poopoo understanding of it
This dude in the other flat Earth discord tried to tell me the scientific method had to begin at observing "natural phenomenon" so man made experiments don't count ๐ด
i asked him to justify the distinction and he just said "it says natural phenomenon" and just did like a mix of appeal to authority and appeal to nature
I feel like he probably read something written by like Aristotle or Descartes about natural law or something
and assumed that meant things non manmade
As opposed to things that aren't super natural lol
that's what I said lol all things in the natural world follow natural law
This might have been debated like 2000 years ago lol
True
Even geocentric models of sphere earth were more predictive than any flat Earth "model" proposed so far ๐
Ooo
That was a proof I did in linear algebra
I forget how I proved it
Oh wait
just show matrix is non singular
Nvm
It can happen in geometries other than a sphere right?
what do you mean by proof?
do you mean 100% certainty?
I was thinking you could improve the Cavendish experiment for flat earthers by including a null results adaptation https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/214277299925680128/596817186782183444/Screenshot_20190705-173557.jpg
Pic related
we can discharge the spheres of static electricity and measure their magnetic properties
What do you mean by proven???
Science does not prove things with 100% certainty ever
